Jorge DeFendini is a Puerto Rican Democratic Socialist running for re-election to represent Ward 4 on the Ithaca Common Council. After graduating from Cornell University in 2022 with two degrees in Government and American Studies and serving on Council, Jorge plans to put his experience to work in service of Collegetown. A tenant working in the fast food industry at Insomnia Cookies, Jorge is fighting for labor and tenant protections.
